Rimbey Fish & Game Association is a non-profit organization that has about 100 members annually and is affiliated with the Alberta Wildlife Federation. Located in Central Alberta, we work towards ensuring more habitat, fish and wildlife for the use and enjoyment of Albertan's. Our mission is to promote through educational programs, the conservation and utilization of fish and wildlife and to protect and enhance the habitats they depend upon.
Our hardworking volunteers look after the Open Creek Dam Campground as well as our brand new completed Lodge on a beautiful piece of land just south of Rimbey, AB.
Open Creek Dam Campground

Open Creek Dam Campground is leased from Clearwater County and is privately owned and operated by the Rimbey Fish and Game Association. The Association manages the campground in the splendid Alberta foothills. Open Creek Dam Campground is located just 32 kilometers West of Rimbey on Highway 53 and is open from May through September. Open Creek Dam Campground is family and pet friendly with excellent campsites, day-use areas, walking paths, hiking trails, boat launches, playgrounds, camp kitchen, picnic tables, many wonderful wildlife viewing opportunities, and much more.
